Desktop and platform ship weekly — every release signed, every update pushed automatically to every desk. The version at the top of the list updates itself; the notes follow. Four pieces reach this log: the desktop app, the platform, the edge node and luge-cli — every entry carries its own prefix. The full log below is the public record; the signed installers for each release live on the download mirror.

1. edge v0.26.0 October 6, 2026

   A script can finally tell how a coding agent's turn ended. The command now exits with a code that separates an answer from a refusal, a cap reached, a cancellation or a failure, where a refusal used to exit as a success. And one option returns the whole thing as a single line of data instead of a stream of text, so a scheduled job or a CI step reads the result without parsing a terminal.

2. plateforme v0.94.0 October 5, 2026

   A refused or cancelled tool call no longer reads as a failure. The distinction changes daily life: the audit trail, the quality checks and the statistics stop counting a decision as a breakdown. Orchestration starts again where it had stopped: a Loop team installs, a Supervisor saved without an order runs one specialist after another, and a delegation you stop reads as cancelled instead of hanging. Vision is now set agent by agent. And a coding agent on your own machine shows its subscription's quotas, flags a connector that has grown too old, and recovers a session lost to a brief disconnection.

   Call settings are grouped into two tabs, Audio and Video, with a microphone meter that moves while you talk and a speaker test. One Invite button serves your colleagues and your outside guests alike, a shared screen can carry its own sound without dragging the call's along, and the same button that opens full screen closes it. The Documents library reads one page at a time, filtered and searched on the server, so a large library stops dragging. A security patch followed the same day: the public entrance now refuses every internal route of the API.

   A connector too old to work is now called obsolete rather than merely behind, with the minimum version it needs and the command that fixes it, even when the registry is unreachable. A profile check reports the subscription's quotas: the five-hour window, the weekly one, the percentage used and the reset time. The node also announces the context size it runs with, instead of letting the platform assume half of it and trim every message for nothing. And starting a node from a terminal no longer sends that terminal's job to the background.

5. plateforme v0.92.0 September 30, 2026

   The camera can blur or replace what is behind you, cutting around the person, and the microphone takes keystroke noise out, on by default. A question an agent asks is answered by the person it is put to, whatever their role and by their own hand, and it closes on every device the moment the agent stops waiting. Deleting a workflow, a run or an account settles and announces the human questions it takes with it, instead of leaving them hanging. Under load, the platform refuses excess work and drops reads nobody is waiting for any more.

   A call in progress can change device: you open the conversation on another one, you take the call over, and the person on the other end stays on the line without noticing. The device you leave can no longer come back with the token it kept. On the automation side, a workflow step reads a meeting's whole transcript, and a regenerated summary becomes an event of its own, which keeps the workflows triggered by a finished meeting from running a second time. A disabled agent answers nowhere at all, and a meeting whose speech was lost says so instead of returning an empty summary.

7. edge v0.24.0 September 25, 2026

   Local transcription moves to the graphics card on Linux, with no configuration: about five times faster than on the processor, for the same text. Speaker identification changes model and stops inventing people, because it works out how many are speaking on its own: across sixty-one French medical calls it gets the count right sixty times instead of sixteen. A transcript segment is now cut at every speaker change, instead of running across several turns under one name. Speech attributed to the right person goes from 63 to 89 per cent on those calls, and from 67 to 97 per cent on recorded meetings.

   A video salon can now open to someone outside the company: you invite them by email, they prove their address, they walk in with camera and microphone, and they see nothing else of the channel. Nobody is transcribed unknowingly: a guest is asked at the door or when recording starts, may stay in the call unrecorded, and everyone sees who is not being recorded. On the automation side, every scheduled task, workflow and webhook now says who it answers to, separately from the identity it runs as: a decision that needs a human can go to a whole team, where one member takes it, and an unanswered question hands over to someone else after a delay you set. And lists finally return the whole collection rather than the newest two hundred rows.

   An automation says who it answers to and which identity it runs as, and all three surfaces, scheduled task, workflow and webhook, are configured the same way. PDF forms enter the terminal: import a template, hold a private draft, download the PDF, place and version signature fields. Delivery routes are set per scope, with a named human reviewer. And listings finally fit a small model's context: cards come back as summaries rather than whole, which takes a 56-card listing from 191 KB down to 18.

10. v0.27.0 September 23, 2026

    A secret is now used through an explicit grant you set yourself: one exact web origin, or a protected browser page, configured in the Secrets panel. An ordinary MCP tool no longer receives one. And a secret can live in the OS keychain instead of 1Password, so there is no account to open elsewhere before you start. On the branding side, a partner can paint the app in its own palette and fonts, block recording with a stated reason, and show or hide its rail apps at runtime.

    Your agents can be tried before they are saved: read-aloud, dictation, transcription, image, embeddings, even a preview voice call, all from the agent's own sheet. Images land for real: an organization configures image agents by role, a conversational agent picks one, estimates the cost before firing, then generates or retouches. A one-time task an agent creates now reschedules itself, delivers its result with a receipt, and archives once everything has settled. And an Applications page, three setup guides and a guided cookbook install shorten the first day.

    A secret no longer travels inside a tool's arguments. Each alias is granted one precise use: an authenticated HTTPS call to a named origin, method and path, or a protected browser page where a form is filled without the agent ever holding the password. The tool returns only a numeric status and a yes or no, never the response body. A secret can also live in the OS keychain, with no 1Password account. And an image attached in Luge finally reaches the coding agent instead of being dropped on the way: it was being asked what is wrong with a screenshot, and handed no screenshot.

    A colleague's call rings like a real phone call, on Android and on iPhone, and every attempt leaves one entry in the conversation that moves from invitation to outcome. During a voice call the display opens the right document, a PDF at the page you asked for, and the assistant knows what you are looking at; a photo from the camera joins the call. An agent can hand a task to a colleague agent and relay its answer, with the same activity panel voice delegations use. Timers become an object of your own, and notes save while you write.

    What leaves the platform leaves once. An email, a chat post, a ticket, a reply to a customer: each one books its send before calling the provider, so a retry from another conversation returns the receipt instead of sending twice, and a send whose outcome nobody can establish stays blocked rather than being replayed hopefully. An automated task that hits an infrastructure wall no longer reports the story it had started: it fails under its real cause, and that reads on the card. The product documentation stops being something an agent had to switch on: it ships with the version and every agent reads it. And the hosted Claude Code runtime leaves the platform: Claude stays reachable through the Anthropic API and through an agent on your own machine.

    The app finally reads like Luge: same palettes, same fonts, same surfaces as the web. A brand's sign-in round-trips through the system browser, and its rail apps can raise a badge and an OS notification. Local transcription gains Nemotron 3.5, with a forced language: Parakeet drifted to English on French audio, and no longer does. And a hostile download name stays inside the Downloads folder.

    A note carries files the way a card does: attach, list, read, detach, and every command that writes a file answers alike. A saved link becomes an object of its own, filed and tagged, and a section of bookmarks becomes the unit you share or attach to a project. A pull request is read and discussed at a version that does not move under the conversation. A project names who takes part and under what role, a role being a fact and never an access grant. And what the AI consumed reads whole, on bounds that do not move.

    A project becomes a place rather than two stacked lists: its sheet opens as a grid, one tile per kind of thing it holds, and conversations join it like the rest, so a thread says which project it is about. Bookmarks arrive as a real surface: links filed in sections, tagged, shared, held live by the project's sheet. The agent installed on your own machine stops being a configuration and becomes somewhere you look: its tool calls, file diffs and plans render in the conversation, and you decide whether it refuses, asks, or acts. And an automated task now declares what it worked on, which reads back from the card.

    A coding agent can now authenticate as a named account rather than as whatever the machine happens to be logged into: two instances run side by side on the same node, each with its own credentials, and signing in always stays local. An interrupted conversation resumes where it stopped instead of starting over, even when the process died mid-turn. An agent's right to act, refuse, ask or allow, is set from Luge and no longer only in front of the machine. And local transcription forces the language, French from France and from Québec alike.

    Your data leaves with you: one command takes a copy of everything the platform holds about you, and reads the scheduled backup beside it. A day can be proposed before it is written, parked in the approval inbox where accepting it applies it. A process running outside the platform can tell you it is done, with the sound, the toast and the phone notification any other gets. A board says what is happening on it, and the terminal reads across every board you can see. And an installed cookbook becomes one object to see, start, pause or uninstall, instead of a dozen tasks and agents you recognise by name.

    Your phone tells Luge you're driving — an ask a car can't settle waits until you're free again, and the ones that go through are cut short to be read aloud. Sharing that context stays off by default. On the rights side, the right to post in a channel is computed where it's answered: no more send button promising what the platform will then refuse.

    The navigation rail gets its words back: icons-only at rest, it opens on hover or keyboard focus to reveal every label — over the content rather than pushing it — and a setting keeps it icons-only if you prefer. A team whose AI bridge is switched off finally reads as exactly that, instead of an expired session.

    What leaves with you when you export your data — and what is erased when you close your account — is no longer a list somebody has to remember to maintain: the build re-derives it from the database schema, table by table, and fails if a single one is left undecided without a stated reason. An interrupted turn that answered anyway now counts as a flagged success rather than a dead run.

    A card finally carries its own state — to do, in progress, paused, done — instead of it being inferred from whichever column happens to hold it, and a column can set the rule that stamps it on arrival. “My work” becomes a graphical overview, a filtered board has an address (so it can be shared and bookmarked), and a paired phone can answer an approval request.

    An agent running outside Luge — a terminal, CI, a schedule — can now put its question where a human will see it: `luge-cli hitl create` files the ask in the approval inbox with its deadline and its notification, and `--wait` blocks for the answer. Running out that window isn't a failure: the question stays live in the inbox.

    Say a thing once: a webhook redelivery finds the run, the card or the row the first delivery created instead of doubling it, and the REST send stops publishing your message twice. What the agent claims gets checked harder too — a page it read along the way becomes a cited source whose link actually opens, and a judge re-reads the running summary so it asserts nothing its sources don't carry.

    Administration becomes its own surface: the organization console takes the tenant, settings keep the person, and admin power reads as a mode you switch on — an amber ring on the avatar, widened lists that say so instead of changing silently. Exposure profiles let an admin shape each member's interface without ever touching their rights, and a deterministic gate withholds a restricted read before the model ever sees it, sandbox included.

    One word, one meaning: `agent` talks, `conversation` reads, `settings agent` governs — and a card posted in a channel can finally take a vote or an answer from the command line. Three probes make the platform observable from a terminal, one of them the product documentation index the agent skill consults before ever answering that Luge can't do something.

28. v0.24.0 August 20, 2026

    On Linux, your session finally survives a reboot: the token moves from the in-memory kernel keyring to the on-disk secret service, as on macOS and Windows — expect one last sign-in after updating. The meetings list no longer loses a fresh row to a slower request, and dates follow the language you picked rather than the machine's.

    A node whose team has AI features switched off no longer cuts out believing its session expired: it stays on the air, quietly reports that the bridge is closed, and comes back on its own the moment it reopens — no restart, no re-pairing. Release builds now point at `my.luge.works` by default; a node that already set its own address is untouched.

    A screenshot produced by a local MCP server now reaches the agent intact: the relay forwards content blocks as they are instead of flattening everything into one line of text. A tool-level failure relays as a failure too, no longer as a success.

    Any object in the workspace opens into a discussion — a capture, a meeting, a project, a note, a table, a card: the conversation is your own, it names its subject on every turn and links back to the object. Underneath, the largest identity audit the platform has had: a tool call, a sandbox, a scheduled run all act as the person whose turn it is, never as whoever attached the agent. Gemini can be served from the customer's own Google Cloud project with the region pinned — the region is what keeps the exchange inside one jurisdiction.

    Two things only the web form could do come to the command line: the tenant's tool wiring — declare an MCP server, read what the gateway actually mounted, re-mount it — and its AI wiring, where an agent is put on a provider and a provider is asked what it serves right now rather than what the catalogue remembers. A posted card stops being permanent: correct it in place, or take it off the thread.

    An agent that finds `luge-edge` on a machine can ask what that machine is good for: `luge-edge skills` prints a manual — what the node serves, where config, models and the token live, and one section per family (inference, agents, transcription, tools) with what to check when one of them isn't answering. The text is embedded, so an offline node still answers, and a test rejects any command missing from the manual.

    A body of work finally has its container: the project becomes a first-class object — meetings, documents, notes, boards and folders gather under it, a folder is linked whole rather than row by row, and an appointment is referenced without a single byte of it being stored. A card can be archived instead of destroyed, and five security holes close — among them a card that could be shared out from under its board, and an agent that could reach a same-tenant peer's private documents.

    On macOS, a node installed with the published one-liner finds its inference engine again: discovery followed the symlink placed on the PATH instead of resolving it, and reported the model ready with `llama-server` missing while never serving inference. Linux and Windows were unaffected.

36. cli v0.49.0 August 17, 2026

    `luge-cli upgrade` now moves the tool and the skill your agents read together — the skill is a copy dropped into their skills directory, so upgrading the package alone left them driving the new release with the previous one's instructions. The CLI also announces its version on every call and mentions, at most once a day, that a newer one exists: the deployment says so in its own response, no index is polled.

    All four Gemma 4 models download again: upstream re-uploaded them with an updated chat template, which moved every checksum the catalogue pinned — and since the integrity check is the last step, the whole multi-gigabyte wait was paid before the error appeared. The check itself stays exactly as it is: it is what caught the change, where a catalogue trusting whatever the CDN returned would have loaded different weights in silence.

    Signing out of Luge in a browser no longer takes this machine's tools, inference and transcription off the air: signing out closes every socket a person owns, and the desktop read its own as a revoked token. The screenshot tool now checks consent when it runs — withdrawing it mid-session takes effect immediately — and Qwen3.8 27B joins the local catalogue.

    A human hand on the self-improvement loop: a skill proposed by the nightly pass is reviewed and judged before it lands for everyone, and the admin gets a morning digest — what applied overnight, what awaits approval, what expired. Boards also open read-only to outside collaborators.

    Operating what the platform opened up: an Operations page to supervise the durable event queue (dead letters grouped by cause, one-click replay), external-access governance (a per-organization switch, domain lists, a named access review, full erasure on request), and personal MCP services — each member connects their own account instead of a shared secret.

    Letting someone in from outside — and nothing else out: share a note or a folder with a person outside the organization; they prove their address (Google, Microsoft or a one-time code) and reach only what was explicitly shared with them. The calendar becomes a trigger too: a workflow can fire before or after a meeting and prepare a briefing whose reading is consented and journalled.

    Sharing a folder of notes opens read access to everything filed beneath it, sections included — sharing opens the door, it never hands the folder over.
